Drawboard PDF is a complete program for functions that allow us to carry out all sorts of actions on PDFs such as opening, editing or creating new files. The PDF format is widely known in all sorts of scopes, being notably used both at administrative, professional and academic levels. If you need a program full of functions to draw up PDFs, one. Drawboard PDF PRO: Document Builder, Merging/Rearrange/Remove Pages. Save as from the left hand menu to open the document in Drawboard PDF as a new document.

Hyperlinks

Drawboard PDF PRO hyperlinks allow you to now treat your PDFs as a living documents. Faster navigating, more annotating.

Hyperlinks can be placed on pictures, text, shapes or whitespace and can direct to weblinks, pages or even exact areas within pages. You can even style hyperlinks to match your document with the option to change the selection border type, color and thickness. This new feature also gives you the option to configure what your click action does, for example, you can direct to the link destination, or induce an edit menu in context.

Start now by clicking the ‘insert’ tab of the slide-out panel on the right hand side of the document view. For quick and regular use, you can also add this feature to your favorites bar.

If you do have a Surface Dial, you will also now be able to make use of active page rotation, allowing you to rotate any page for drawing ease and accuracy.

Calibrated Annotations

For our design and construction users especially, you can now calibrate a page or entire document, and make annotations to scale with linear, square area and polygon area measurements .

The Protractor will also adjust to your calibrated scale.

Grid and Line Overlays

Select from a range of Grid and Line Overlays to make precise annotation and note-taking much easier.

You can choose from:

  • Notebook paper
  • Gregg ruled paper
  • Pitman ruled paper
  • Graph paper (1/8″, 1/4″, 1/2cm, 1cm)
  • Engineering grid
  • Isometric grid (1/2cm, 1cm)

These are available as an overlay in the View & Layout settings of a document, or as a background style when creating a new, blank document.
