Announced by Westwood Pacific on 13 April 2001, Yuri’s Revenge is the official expansion pack for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. Yuri’s Revenge has been declared the largest expansion pack for any Westwood Studios game, and features not only new campaigns (7 Allied and 7 Soviet missions), but a whole new third side to play. Just earlier, I was listening to Red Alert 2 soundtrack, the Hell March came on - classic! 🤘😄 - I digress, it got me thinking about the awesome mods, remasters and remakes people have already done. Thing is though, with Red Alert 2, I'm aware that the actor who played Alex Romanov, for one, has passed away long ago. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a 2.5D real-time strategy computer game developed by Westwood Pacific and released in October 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Although not originally envisioned by Westwood Studios, Red Alert 2 was created following the success of the original Red Alert. Set in the early 1970s, Red Alert 2 picks up at the conclusion of the Allied. And once again, Red Alert 2 gives the Soviet side a greater underwater navy, while the Allied fleet is predominantly surface-based with Destroyers, Cruisers and Aircraft Carriers going against the Russian Typhoon Subs and Giant Squids. Trained animals play a larger role in this sequel than they did in the original Red Alert.

Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 is a classic real-time strategy game, first released for Windows back in 2000.

The two bundled campaigns - Red Alert and Yuri's Revenge - follow on from the first game, and pitch the Allies and the Soviet Union against each other in a range of missions from small and stealthy to fast-paced, full-scale multi-unit battles.

There are also various smaller 'scenarios', quick skirmishes which you can use to learn the game or if you've only a few minutes to spare.

This isn't a trial or restricted version, it's the complete product. The only 'catch' is you'll need an Electronic Arts account and a copy of Origin to download it, but that doesn't involve much more than providing your email address, and everything else is handled more or less automatically. The game should work on any modern PC - and most ancient ones, too - but keep in mind that it expects to be running full-screen and exclusively. If you Alt+Tab away to some other application, the game screen may not be displayed correctly when you switch back.
